Weekly Announcements
TRANSFORMATION TEAM MEETING: Will be held today, Sunday, April 14. Please continue to pray for them and the work they are doing.
DRIVE THRU PRAYER: Our outreach team will hold a drive thru prayer event today from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Shell Harbor Shopping Center located at 1200 State Hwy. 100, Port Isabel. Please stop by if you have a prayer request and someone will pray with you.
SPRING BIBLE STUDIES: Will continue today, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Two different studies are being offered. Les Cantin assisted by Danny Ward, will lead the study on the book of Ephesians based on an outline by Dr. J. Vernon McGee and Gerald Magee will lead the study on the “Attributes of God.” You may choose the study in which you wish to participate. Boiled shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes will be provided for dinner; please bring a side dish to go with these items to share with
others.
STRONG BONES: Will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week in fellowship hall from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH: Our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade youth will meet on Tuesday, April 16 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
KID’S CLUB: Will be held on Wednesday, April 17 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
YOUTH PROGRAM: Our high school youth will meet on Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m.
PRAYER MEETING: Will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in our church library.
TOWN HALL MEETING: Will be held on Sunday, April 21 at 12 noon in the fellowship hall. Snacks will be provided. Everyone is invited to attend.
LH SPANISH SPEAKING SERVICE: Will be held today, April 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the LH Center located at 47428 TX 100 in Laguna Heights. Pastor Joe Aguilar will share the message. All are welcome!
MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL: Island Baptist Church is looking for a new maintenance person as Mike Brueckner will soon retire. Please pray for us in our search.

Preschool
We have quality childcare for preschoolers during all of our Worship Services and our Sunday Morning Bible Study.
Children
We have an active and vibrant Children’s Ministry here at Island Baptist Church and at our Laguna Heights Campus (LH Center). Ongoing ministries and activities can be found on the church calendar. Children participating in the Island Baptist Church children’s program (outside of Sunday School) must submit a Medical Release Form annually. Adults can best connect through our Sunday Morning Bible Studies, which meet every Sunday at 9:30AM.
LH Center
This is our mission to the Laguna Heights community. We have a Sunday evening worship service at 6:30PM. We also have many programs that minister to the needs of this community.
Food Pantry
We have TWO food pantries!
One is on the main campus on South Padre Island They give out food on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:30am to 2:00pm.
The other is at our Laguna Heights Center. They give out food on Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Winter Texans
Each winter several hundred Winter Texans call South Padre Island and Island Baptist Church their home. Island Baptist Church organizes numerous activities during January and February. Activities include field trips, speakers, game night and holiday dinners.
Many Winter Texans enjoy service and fellowship by participating in a quilting ministry.
The Winter Texan choir leads in worship at Saturday night services.
During January and February, church services expand to include a Saturday night 7:00 PM traditional service.

Revelation Study on DVD
Former Pastor Dr. Waddell’s Revelation sermons (approximately 80 MP3 files) are distributed on one high-capacity disc rather than a set of CDs. The Revelation DVD covers the entire book of Revelation.
Although the disc is a DVD disc, it is not formatted to “play” in a DVD player like a rental movie. The DVD can be thought of as a read-only diskette or flash drive. It contains MP3 sermon files organized in three folders (2010, 2011 and 2012) that are readable by the DVD drive in a laptop or desktop computer. After transferring the sermons to your computer, they can be easily played through your TV, stereo or mobile device.
